Container Covers: Match the Cover to the Container Task
Container covers are not one standard product. A cover for an open-top shipping container must handle transit exposure and tie-down loads; a cover for a stationary storage container may need repeated access, drainage and long-term yard use. A roof-only panel has a different shape and fixing route from a full cover.
Use this page to identify the finished-cover type before specifying PVC material, dimensions and hardware. For cargo in transit, see Shipping Container Covers. For stationary yard or jobsite use, see Storage Container Covers. Share the container type, size, coverage area, exposure, fixing method and required quantity so the right route can be quoted.
Finished Products: MOQ 30 units. The final panel structure, reinforcement and accessories are agreed from the drawing and approved sample.
Which Container Cover Route Fits the Job?
Choose the finished cover by how the container is used, not by a single fabric weight. For an open-top unit or cargo moving in transit, specify the container dimensions, cargo height, tie-down route and exposure during handling. See shipping container covers for that transport task.
For a container parked in a yard, ask how often staff need access, whether water can pool on the cover and how the edges will be fixed. See storage container covers for stationary use. Send drawings or measurements, quantity and target market so the appropriate construction can be quoted.
How to Specify a Container Cover
| Cover task | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Open-top shipping or moving cargo | Container dimensions, cargo height, transit exposure and tie-down route |
| Stationary yard storage | Access frequency, drainage, edge fixing and outdoor exposure |
| Repeated handling or unusual load shape | Contact points, reinforcement, seam layout and approved sample |
Fabric weight should be selected after the task, cover geometry and test requirements are clear.
