Custom Inflatable Floating Dock for Commercial Water Projects
LonaTarp manufactures commercial inflatable dock solutions and custom inflatable floating platform products for marine brands, resorts, marinas, rental operators and water-sports projects. Each inflatable floating dock is built from pressure-holding drop-stitch material, with sidewall welding, EVA deck coverage and custom fittings completed under one project specification.
For each custom dock or modular inflatable dock system, the approved drawing controls thickness, deck coverage, valve and fitting positions, module connections and branding. This keeps the finished product aligned with the operating scene instead of a fixed retail specification.
Inflatable Floating Platform Types We Can Customize
Yacht-side access docks
Floating swim and leisure platforms
Marina and SUP staging platforms
Resort and rental activity decks
Modular walkways and event platforms
Temporary service or work platforms
Select Thickness, Deck and Fittings for an Inflatable Water Dock
A custom inflatable dock is a complete pressure-holding product. Drop-stitch structure, sidewalls, welded seams, deck and fittings must be selected together so that one component does not create a weak point in the finished platform.
| Operating Condition | Recommended Focus | Confirm Before Production |
|---|---|---|
| Yacht or boat-side access | Protected edges and controlled boarding zones | Freeboard, contact side, ladder or tender interface |
| Resort, swimming or rental use | EVA grip and practical handles | Deck coverage, cleaning method, staff handling route |
| Modular water layout | Connector alignment and repeatable module size | Module drawing, joint gap, anchor and pull direction |
| Work or equipment platform | Reinforced local load zones | Equipment footprint and concentrated-load positions |
| Distributor or branded program | Repeatable appearance and packing | Color reference, artwork, labels and accessory list |

Custom Manufacturing for Complete Inflatable Docks
Structure: For a drop stitch inflatable dock, in-house pressure-holding panels and matching sidewalls are approved together.
Seams: High-frequency or hot-air welding selected for the approved material and joint.
Deck: Full or zoned EVA deck with custom texture, color and artwork.
Fittings: Valves, D-rings, grab handles, anchor patches and modular connectors positioned by drawing.
Branding: Logo, product markings, labels and private-label packaging.
Quality checks: Dimensions, appearance, fitting positions, seam condition and agreed pressure retention test before shipment.
Drop stitch fabric, also called double wall fabric in some purchase specifications, must be approved with the sidewall and finished seam. For an inflatable water dock, the material name alone does not prove that the completed platform will hold pressure.
Applications and Water Project Scenarios
- SUP, swimming and yoga staging
- Marinas and waterfront facilities
- Resorts, rental fleets and water parks
- Modular event walkways
- Yacht and boat access
FAQ About Inflatable Docks
Can LonaTarp produce the complete dock and the drop-stitch material?
Yes. We produce the pressure-holding material and fabricate the finished dock under the same approved project specification.
How should dock thickness and working pressure be confirmed?
The choice depends on platform span, use, concentrated loads, connector layout, temperature and field inflation. We confirm the proposed combination through the drawing and sample.
Can the EVA deck, valves, D-rings and handles be customized?
Yes. Coverage, position, quantity and reinforcement are set from the intended use and pull direction shown on the drawing.
Can the dock be used in fresh water, salt water or treated pool water?
These environments can be considered. Send the water type, temperature, cleaning chemicals and storage method so the material and fittings can be reviewed.
Do you provide a preproduction sample?
Yes. The sample can confirm dimensions, deck layout, fitting positions, module connection and the agreed pressure-retention method before bulk production.
What is the MOQ for finished inflatable docks?
Material programs are normally planned from a 5,000 m² production baseline. The finished-unit MOQ is confirmed after the dock size, structure, deck, fittings and packaging are defined.
How long does production take?
Standard production is normally about 15 days after specifications and sample approval. Complex accessories, printing or additional testing may change the schedule.
What should we send for a quote?
Send the intended use, dimensioned drawing, working pressure, load locations, water environment, fitting map, quantity, packaging and sample requirements.
