What GSM do I need for a beach umbrella?
For portable beach umbrellas, 300-450 gsm works well — lightweight for handling, durable enough for the season. For permanent poolside umbrellas at hotels and resorts, 450-650 gsm gives better long-term durability. Tell us your application and expected service life and we recommend.
How does the mold cost credit work?
You pay for custom molds upfront — small mold ~$350, large mold ~$930. Each mold prints one color, so a 2-color design needs 2 molds. When your total orders of that pattern reach 20,000 meters (65,620 feet), we credit the full mold cost back.
Can I see a sample before bulk order?
Yes. We send A4 material samples with your chosen pattern, colors, and GSM. We recommend seeing and feeling the material — especially for hospitality applications where appearance matters.
What's the difference between using an existing mold vs. custom development?
Existing molds: no mold cost, ready to use now. We apply your colors to the existing pattern structure.
Custom development: you pay for new molds but the pattern is yours alone. We quote before we start.
How long does the material last in outdoor use?
With proper UV stabilization (our standard formulation), expect 3-5 years of service life in normal outdoor conditions. In intense sun environments (desert, tropical, high altitude), higher GSM grades and reinforced constructions extend service life. We discuss expected life based on your specific application and location.
What colors are available?
Any RAL or Pantone. Common shade structure colors include navy/white, green/white, burgundy/cream, blue/white. We also do custom brand colors for hospitality chains and commercial venues.
What is your minimum order quantity?
5,000 square meters per pattern/color/gsm combination. For large projects, one production run covers the order. Talk to us if your project is smaller — we sometimes accommodate below MOQ for long-term clients.
Can I get flame retardant material?
Yes. We offer flame retardant formulations that meet EN 13773 and NFPA 701 standards. Required for some commercial applications and certain markets — tell us if you need FR and we spec it accordingly.

Step 1 — Design Concept
Send us your design: logo file, sketch, or concept description. We evaluate how many molds your design needs — one color means one mold. A 2-color design needs 2 molds.
Step 2 — Mold Quote
We quote your mold cost within 3 days. The quote tells you the exact mold count and cost. Small mold: ~$350. Large mold: ~$930.
Step 3 — Sample Approval
Once you approve the quote, we build the mold and send a material sample. You approve the sample — then we begin bulk production.
Step 4 — Production & Mold Credit
Your pattern goes into our active mold library. Every meter of that pattern you order counts toward the 20,000-meter credit threshold. When you hit 20,000m total orders, we credit the full mold cost back.
