Heavy Equipment Covers for Large, Irregular Machinery
Large construction and industrial machines need a cover designed around their actual geometry. Corners, protrusions, access panels, lifting points and wind exposure can concentrate stress even when the center fabric is strong.
This page focuses on made-to-order covers for heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders and large outdoor machinery. Before specifying the cover, confirm the machine model or drawing, storage or transport use, mounting points, access frequency, expected exposure and quantity. The material, seam route and reinforcement should then be selected as one finished-cover system.
For the broader range of machinery and smaller assets, see Equipment Covers. Finished Products: MOQ 30 units.
Fit Around Protrusions, Access and Lifting Points
Large machines often have exhausts, mirrors, handrails, sharp corners and access panels that make a flat cover hard to fit. Identify where the cover may rub, where operators need access, and which points can safely carry fastening loads. A drawing or measured sample lets the cover pattern and reinforcement be checked before production.
For smaller or mixed machinery categories, start with the equipment covers overview.
Specify Fabric After Geometry and Handling
Fabric weight is one input, not a stand-alone durability grade. Confirm the machine dimensions, protrusions, contact and abrasion points, outdoor exposure, removal frequency, seam layout and fastening route. Then compare candidate PVC-coated fabrics using the agreed base-fabric structure, tear and tensile results, coating adhesion and a physical sample.
Where UV, flame, cold-flex or other functions matter, state the target standard and test method in the inquiry so the final specification can be verified.
What to Confirm in a Heavy Equipment Cover Quote
Equipment drawing: overall dimensions, raised components, access points and installation clearance.
Use conditions: outdoor location, exposure duration, handling frequency and contact with sharp or hot components.
Finished construction: panel layout, seam method, edge reinforcement, tie-down positions and any access openings.
Approval evidence: agreed material specification, sample or prototype, inspection points and packaging plan. Performance requirements should be confirmed against the chosen material and test method.

Questions I'm Asked Most
Are your heavy equipment covers suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. They are designed for long-term outdoor exposure with full weather protection.
Can you customize covers for irregular machinery?
Yes. We manufacture based on your equipment dimensions or drawings.
What material is best for heavy equipment protection?
PVC-coated polyester is the most durable and widely used option.
How long do these covers last?
With proper use, they provide long-term durability and reduce replacement frequency.
