What Is Vinyl / PVC Pool Liner?
A PVC pool liner is a flexible, waterproof lining that helps retain water and gives the pool its finished appearance. In pool liner terminology, vinyl usually refers to flexible PVC, so “vinyl pool liner material” and “PVC pool liner material” often describe the same material family.
LonaTarp supplies two constructions in rolls: reinforced PVC membrane with textile reinforcement and unreinforced PVC film without it. Colors, printed patterns, and textured finishes can be selected according to the material specification and intended fabrication process.
PVC Pool Liner Materials We Supply
Compare reinforced PVC membranes with unreinforced PVC films. Choose a construction below to explore available products and specifications.
Reinforced PVC Pool Liner Membrane
An internal textile layer supports dimensional stability during handling and fabrication.
Unreinforced Vinyl Pool Liner Film
Vinyl pool liner film without textile reinforcement, supplied for downstream liner fabrication.
Vinyl Pool Liner Specifications
Compare the construction, thickness, roll size, and common fabrication methods for our two vinyl pool liner materials.
Send your target thickness, finish, order quantity, and welding method so we can confirm the appropriate material specification.
Colors, Patterns & Textures Customization
Match a Pantone color reference, select from 20 printed patterns and 12 anti-slip textures, or develop a custom finish for your pool liner material.

Solid Colors & Printed Patterns
Choose a solid color or one of our displayed patterns. Displayed patterns have existing printing cylinders; a new design requires a custom cylinder.
3D Embossed Pool Liner Textures
Select a physical texture for the look and feel of the liner surface. Confirm the texture on a material sample and specify any required slip-resistance test.
Custom Designs & Branding
Send your artwork, color reference, and roll-label requirements. Printed or embossed designs made with rollers you pay to customize are reserved for your exclusive use.
PVC Pool Liner Fabric by Application
Pool shape, structure and operating conditions affect pool liner fabric selection. Review the requirements of each project before choosing a reinforced membrane or unreinforced film.
Inground & Fixed-Shell Pools
Check pool shape, steps, drains and seam details when specifying liner material.
Above-Ground & Panel Pools
Frame dimensions, panel joints and contact points affect liner fit and abrasion risk.
Commercial, Hotel & Public Pools
Match the material to pool usage, water treatment and cleaning routines.
Water Parks & Aquatic Centers
Complex shapes and wet walking areas require attention to seams and surface texture.
Spa & Therapy Pools
Warm water and frequent chemical treatment require temperature and chemical compatibility checks.
Pool Renovation & Relining Projects
Existing fittings, uneven surfaces and irregular dimensions complicate replacement liner planning.
Performance Requirements & Test Evidence
Review performance requirements against the actual pool conditions. Request test documents for the selected material grade, thickness and finish.
Pool-Water & Chlorine Exposure
Share the sanitizer system, water temperature and cleaning chemicals so the selected material can be checked against its intended exposure conditions.
UV Exposure & Color Retention
For outdoor pools, confirm the destination climate and color requirements. Review UV and color-retention data relevant to the selected grade and finish.
Mechanical & Surface Performance
Specify the required tear strength, seam performance, surface wear and slip resistance where applicable. Agree on the test methods before production.
View the printed pattern and surface detail. The video is a visual demonstration, not a performance test.
Certifications & Material Test Reports
Request documents relevant to your selected pool liner material. We will identify which reports cover the material grade and which certificates apply to the company.
Welding & Fabrication Compatibility
Reinforced PVC membrane pool liner is commonly joined with hot-air welding during installation. Unreinforced film is often RF/HF welded into liner panels in a factory.
Confirm Your Processing Method
Tell us your welding method, equipment and seam requirements. If you have a material sample that already works on your production line, send it as a reference.
Test the Material on Your Equipment
Weld a sample using your production equipment. Check seam strength, material distortion and surface marks against your acceptance criteria before placing a bulk order.
Pool Liner Roll Production & Batch Consistency
Batch consistency starts with an approved pool liner sheet material reference. Confirm the construction, thickness, color or pattern, texture and roll size before production so each order can be checked against the same requirements.
Material Production
Confirm reinforced or unreinforced construction and the required thickness, finish and roll dimensions for the production order.
Finished-Roll Inspection
Check thickness, roll dimensions, surface appearance and winding against the approved order specification before packing.
Repeat-Order Reference
Use the approved sample and specification when reordering. Confirm any changes to color, pattern, texture or roll size before the next production run.
Bulk Roll Supply & Packaging
Reinforced membrane and unreinforced film are supplied in rolls. Confirm the roll size, labeling, packaging and delivery details before placing a bulk order.

Material Support for Swimming Pool Liner Production
LonaTarp supplies PVC pool liner material in rolls for manufacturers developing new liner ranges and buyers sourcing material for existing products. A current material sample, technical sheet or finished liner design gives us a useful starting point for discussing a suitable roll material.
Developing a New Liner Design
Tell us which parts of the liner will use the material, such as the walls, floor or steps. For printed or embossed designs, share the panel layout and intended pattern direction. Your team can then assess how the finish will look after cutting and joining, rather than judging it from a small swatch alone.
Replacing an Existing Material
Send a representative sample of the material you currently use and explain what you want to improve. This might be its appearance, handling during fabrication or suitability for your production equipment. We can discuss a candidate material grade and arrange a sample for your team to evaluate before a bulk order.

PVC Pool Liner Material FAQs
Do you supply finished pool liners or material rolls?
LonaTarp supplies reinforced PVC pool liner membrane and unreinforced film in rolls. Buyers cut and weld the material into finished liners using their own equipment or fabrication partners.
Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Tell us whether you need a hand sample to review color and texture or a larger sample for fabrication trials. Sample availability, charges and dispatch time are confirmed according to the requested material and sample size.
What affects the price of PVC pool liner material?
Pricing depends on the material construction, thickness, surface finish, roll dimensions and order quantity. Custom printed or embossed designs may require separate tooling charges. Send your specifications and delivery destination for a quotation.
Can I combine different colors or patterns in one order?
Please send the quantity required for each color or pattern. We will confirm whether they can be combined and how the minimum order quantity applies to each specification before quoting.
Will my custom pattern or texture remain exclusive?
Designs produced using dedicated printing cylinders or embossing rollers that you pay to customize are reserved for your exclusive use. Existing standard patterns remain available to other buyers.
What should I provide if I find a material defect?
Keep the roll label and provide the order number, affected quantity, photos and a description of the issue. Retain a material sample where possible so the issue can be reviewed against the agreed specification and applicable order terms.
