Customization support covers artwork preparation, printing cylinder development, color samples, embossing roller development and bulk roll production. We help you move from a design reference to an approved material sample and confirmed production specifications.
MOQ: 2,500 linear meters. Materials are supplied in rolls, not as finished liners fabricated to fit an individual swimming pool. Specifications, development costs and sample arrangements are confirmed for each project.

Printed Patterns
For a new vinyl pool liner design, we review the artwork, number of printing colors and production requirements. AI, PDF or high-resolution EPS files are preferred where available.
New patterns require printing cylinders. After the cylinders are prepared, a test print can be used to review the printed colors and registration before bulk production.
Custom Colors
For custom vinyl pool liner colors, provide a target shade, color reference or physical sample.
We prepare the color on actual PVC material so you can review the shade and surface appearance together. Real material samples provide a more reliable reference than approving color from a screen image alone.
3D Embossed Textures
For a new textured pool liner surface, provide a texture image, physical sample or design reference.
3D embossing creates a physical texture directly on the PVC surface rather than only a printed visual effect. Where a new texture is required, we evaluate whether a custom embossing roller needs to be developed.
Custom Tooling Costs & Roller Buyback
New printed patterns and new embossed textures may require dedicated tooling. LonaTarp provides volume-based buyback support for qualifying custom tooling.

Printing Cylinder Buyback
Printing cylinder costs are paid upfront. When production for one design pattern reaches 20,000 linear meters, LonaTarp buys back the corresponding printing cylinders under the agreed terms.
The threshold applies separately to each design pattern. Quantities from different patterns cannot be combined.
Embossing Roller Buyback
Where a new embossing roller is required, development includes roller design, precision machining and testing.
When the agreed cumulative order volume reaches 60,000 m², LonaTarp buys back the custom embossing roller. The eligible order scope, volume calculation and settlement terms are confirmed before production.
Approve Your Pool Liner Before Bulk Production
Before bulk production, an actual PVC material sample can be prepared to confirm the selected pattern, color, surface finish or 3D embossed texture.
For custom designs that require new printing cylinders or a custom embossing roller, sample production is arranged after the tooling requirements and development terms have been confirmed. This ensures that the sample reflects the same tooling and production setup intended for the final material.
Once available, the material sample allows you to review the appearance on actual PVC material rather than relying only on digital images. The approved sample is then confirmed together with the required material thickness, roll width, roll length and other agreed specifications as the reference for bulk production.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom pool liner rolls?
The minimum order quantity is 2,500 linear meters. Send your required thickness, roll width and preferred pattern, color or texture so we can review the specification and prepare a quotation. Customization costs and sample arrangements are confirmed for each project.
Can I review a physical sample before bulk production?
Yes. Material samples can be prepared so you can review the selected pattern, color, surface finish and embossed texture. Where applicable, the sample can also be used to check welding suitability. Sample specifications and arrangements are confirmed according to the customization requirements.
Do you supply pool liner rolls or finished liners made to fit a pool?
We supply reinforced PVC pool liner material in rolls for manufacturers, importers, distributors and commercial material buyers. We do not supply finished liners cut and welded to fit an individual swimming pool, and we do not provide on-site installation.
Can you develop a pool liner pattern that is not shown on this page?
Yes. Producing vinyl pool liner designs that are not shown on this page requires new printing cylinders. Send your artwork or a visual reference for review. We confirm the design requirements, cylinder configuration, development cost and test-print arrangements before proceeding.
What colors of pool liners look best in the water?
For a bright aqua or turquoise appearance, off-white and sand tones can be useful starting points. Grey and blue-grey finishes can produce cooler blue effects, while richer blue shades can create a deeper-looking water color. The result also depends on pool depth, lighting and surrounding reflections, so compare samples under representative conditions.
Is a darker or lighter pool liner better?
Neither is universally better. Lighter shades generally create a brighter overall appearance, while darker shades give the water a deeper, more dramatic look. Choose according to the visual effect required for your product range or project.
Color alone is not a durability specification: PVC formulation, pigments, surface treatment and exposure conditions should also be considered.
Can different printed patterns be combined to reach the cylinder buyback threshold?
No. The 20,000-linear-meter threshold applies separately to each design pattern. Quantities from different patterns cannot be combined. Printing cylinder costs are paid upfront, and LonaTarp buys back the corresponding cylinders once that individual design reaches the agreed production threshold.
How are orders counted toward the embossing roller buyback threshold?
The buyback threshold is 60,000 m² of eligible cumulative order volume. The qualifying order scope, area-calculation method and settlement terms are agreed before production. Do not assume that orders for different textures can be combined; eligibility needs to be confirmed for your custom embossing project.
What affects the lifespan of a vinyl pool liner?
Service life depends on the material construction, PVC formulation, surface finish, UV exposure, water chemistry, cleaning and installation conditions. A selected color, printed pattern or 3D texture does not establish a lifespan by itself. For commercial orders, agree the material specification and relevant performance requirements rather than relying on appearance alone. Accelerated aging test hours should not be treated as guaranteed outdoor years.
