Anti-Slip PVC Tarp #123
Anti-Slip PVC Tarp #123 is a specific embossed PVC roll reference. It has its own texture and should be identified by the complete product name and an approved physical sample. It is different from Anti-Slip PVC Tarp #117, even though both catalogue names contain “Anti-Slip.”
The name is not a measured slip rating or an approval for flooring, ramps or pedestrian safety. Actual surface interaction depends on the contacting material, load, movement, direction, contamination, moisture and wear. Buyers with a grip or slip requirement should define those conditions and the acceptance method before the construction is confirmed.
Evaluate #123 under the intended contact conditions
| Input to define | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Contacting material | Rubber, footwear, cargo or another surface may interact differently with the texture |
| Surface condition | State whether the evaluation is dry, wet or includes a known contaminant |
| Direction and movement | Record the expected load direction, sliding or repeated movement |
| Acceptance method | Use an agreed test, sample trial or customer-specific comparison |
Where #123 will be cut, folded, welded or sewn, make the trial on the proposed roll construction. Check the embossed face after processing and keep the approved sample with the test conditions; a different texture, GSM or base fabric should not be treated as the same evaluated material.
Build the roll specification around the approved texture
GSM, reinforcement fabric, color and performance requirements can be customized. Specify them independently of the #123 surface name. Any required abrasion, weathering, strength or slip-related result must be tied to the agreed construction and verification method.
Assessing the #123 texture for a production product?
Send the complete #123 reference, contacting materials and conditions, required test or acceptance criterion, target GSM, base fabric, color, usable width, processing method and total area. Made-to-order roll production begins at 5,000 m² after the specification is agreed.
Use the embossed tarpaulin collection when you need to compare #123 with other surface references.
