2000D PVC Tarpaulin Developed for Flame Retardant Material Demand

We manufacture 2000D PVC tarpaulin for buyers who need a stronger base fabric direction, heavier coated structure, and flame retardant PVC coating for confirmed testing requirements. The 2000D fabric base gives the roll a reinforced material foundation, while the flame retardant result depends on PVC formula, additive system, coating weight, coating adhesion, and production control.

NFPA 701 is used to assess flame propagation of textiles and films under specified fire test conditions, so it should be treated as a test-based requirement rather than a general “fireproof” claim. For NFPA 701-oriented flame retardant PVC tarpaulin, we recommend confirming the target test method, sample preparation, lab requirement, and report expectation before bulk production.

Matte Red and White Double-Sided PVC Coating

We can produce this 2000D flame retardant PVC tarpaulin with a matte double-sided surface: red on one side and white on the other. The red side provides stronger visual recognition, while the white side gives a cleaner reverse surface when both sides may remain visible after cutting or later production.

Red and white PVC coatings need different control points. Red requires stable pigment consistency and color tolerance, while white can show pressure marks, scratches, coating lines, or surface contamination more easily. For a matte surface, gloss level and texture consistency should also be checked carefully during sample approval.

What NFPA 701 Means for This Material

NFPA 701 does not mean the material will not burn under all conditions. It is a controlled flame propagation test for textiles and films, often considered when flexible materials are used in decorative, hanging, enclosure, tent, tarp, awning, banner, or similar fabric-related projects. For heavier reinforced materials and vinyl-coated fabrics, the applicable test method should be confirmed before sampling.

For this reason, we position NFPA 701 as a specification direction that needs sample testing or report confirmation. If buyers require durability after weathering, cleaning, folding, or outdoor exposure, those conditions should be discussed before testing, because flame retardant performance can be affected by coating formula, material thickness, surface treatment, and exposure history.

Production Control Before Mass Order

For 2000D flame retardant PVC tarpaulin, sample approval should include more than color and weight. We recommend checking coating adhesion, flexibility, matte surface consistency, finished weight tolerance, roll feel, and the color difference between the red and white sides. If NFPA 701 testing is required, the formula direction should be confirmed before sample production.

Because 2000D PVC tarpaulin is a heavy roll material, packing should also be planned early. Roll width, roll length, core strength, wrapping method, moisture protection, edge protection, and loading arrangement can affect how the material arrives for later processing. For matte red-and-white material, full-width sample review is often more useful than only checking a small color swatch.

Custom Roll Material Supply from LonaTarp

LonaTarp supplies 2000D flame retardant PVC tarpaulin as custom roll material for distributors, fabricators, wholesalers, and industrial material buyers. We support matte double-sided coating, red and white color matching, roll width customization, flame retardant formula development, export packing, and sample confirmation before mass production.

Roll material MOQ is 5,000 sqm for custom production. Normal production lead time is about 15 days after specification approval, depending on color, coating formula, NFPA 701 testing arrangement, order quantity, roll size, and packing method.
