Wood-Plank Character on a Flexible PVC Material
The 810GSM Rustic Gray Wood Plank Printed PVC Tarpaulin combines a substantial PVC-coated fabric with the appearance of weathered timber boards. Variations in gray tone, printed grain, knots and dark plank divisions create a rustic finish without introducing the weight or rigidity of real wood panels.
The timber details are printed onto the tarpaulin surface. The dark divisions are visual elements rather than actual gaps, while the knots, scratches and aged marks belong to the design rather than indicating material damage.
How the Material and Print Work Together
At 810GSM, this tarpaulin offers a heavier material profile for projects that require more substance than lightweight decorative fabrics. Its flexible roll format allows the wood-plank effect to be introduced across broad surfaces while retaining the handling characteristics of PVC-coated fabric.
The printed finish changes the visual identity of the material but does not turn it into structural timber, laminate flooring or rigid wall cladding. Performance requirements such as slip resistance, abrasion resistance, flame retardancy or outdoor durability should be specified and verified separately for the intended project.
Plan the Plank Direction Before Conversion
The orientation of the printed boards affects the appearance of the completed installation. Running the planks along the length of a surface can create a continuous visual flow, while changing their direction between sections may make joins more noticeable.
Before confirming production, consider the final surface dimensions, viewing direction, panel arrangement and location of any seams. A physical sample can be used to evaluate the gray tone, grain contrast, plank scale and surface finish under the lighting conditions of your project.
Decorative Coverage for Floors and Large Surfaces
The rustic gray plank design is especially relevant when a project needs the visual impression of timber flooring without using real wood. Subject to the required safety specification and installation method, the material can be considered for temporary decorative floor coverage in controlled environments.
Other possible uses include:
- Temporary event flooring and exhibition displays
- Stage, studio and photography set decoration
- Retail display areas and themed commercial spaces
- Decorative wall coverings, partitions and backdrops
- Fabricated covers requiring a weathered timber appearance
For floor-level use, the substrate condition, fixing method, expected foot traffic, slip resistance and surface wear requirements should be assessed before bulk production. Testing a sample in the intended environment is recommended because the printed wood design itself does not provide an anti-slip function.
Made-to-Order Roll Production from Our Factory
This rustic gray wood-plank pattern is an available design reference rather than ready-stock material. We manufacture the printed PVC tarpaulin after the order specification, sample and production details have been confirmed. The minimum order quantity is 5,000 m².
To prepare the material accurately, send us the required roll dimensions, total quantity, intended installation environment, packing preference and any mandatory performance standards. If the project requires a different gray tone, plank proportion or original artwork, we can review the design and arrange sample approval before production.
